This very rare postcard is addressed to Mrs Anne McQuarrie, Westville, Pictou County, NS. The sender writes "Dear Friend, I recieved your pretty card some time ago. Hoping you are all well. From you loving friend Vila(?) E.S."
This is the only postcard I have ever seen showing Sutherland's River and the photos of the boys are clear enough that they could actually be identified.
